Summary: SharpeVision is a modern, transformative vision-correction boutique; we are searching for a physician liaison responsible for our refractive system's sales and public relations. The physician liaison is the primary sales and marketing person responsible for building relationships between physicians' offices and our community to increase patient volume referrals to our facility for treatment and care. A physician liaison is our brand ambassador for doctors, medical practices, and hospitals and bridges the communication gap between referring doctors and SVML physicians.

To be a successful physician liaison, you should demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills and maintain critical and long-term relationships. You must be willing to travel daily as this position is constantly on the go to various areas based on market needs. Key Responsibilities include the following:

· Surveying local primary optometry physicians to increase the number of patient referrals to the SVML Co-Management program.

· Meeting with local physicians to promote our facility's services and overall brand value.

· Helping doctors build and maintain relationships with OD's/MD's to refer patients with confidence.

· Growing physician referrals & connecting our facility with the local optometric community.

· Meeting with referring doctors to discuss patient care, referrals, new treatments, and thanking them for existing referrals.

· Promoting high revenue procedures and surgeries while educating providers on the benefits and overall process.

· Reporting to the business development manager and ensuring compliance with our facility's marketing goals and philosophies.

· Reporting on the progress in building referrals and managing practitioner relationships.

· Scheduling and coordinating public relations campaigns and marketing awareness efforts such as dinners, facility tours, continuing education, and networking opportunities amongst SVML providers and prospective optometrists.

Qualifications:

· An associate's or bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field.

· Experience in healthcare sales may be advantageous but previous high-end boutique customer service and sales is highly preferred.

· Previous experience and knowledge in LASIK, PRK, cataract, ICL, or RLE is a plus but not necessary.

· A willingness to travel daily and also must have reliable transportation.

· Working outside of normal business hours at times to meet the needs of the co-management program.

· Strong interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and organizational skills.

· Ability to establish excellent rapport and maintain relationships while overcoming barriers.

· Good reporting and writing skills as this position requires strong presentation skills and capturing data and various metrics.
